PATCH supports symptom assessment and management course in Palliative Care

PATCH supported NHSGGC in delivering a 6 day module on Symptom assessment and management in Palliative Care between May and August 2023.
The module was attended by 33 nurses for all care settings. Topics covered included nourishing resilience, assessment and management of common symptoms, ethical decision making, person centred communication, care in last days of life and future care planning .
PATCH generously gifted each participant with 2 books to continue their learning and professional development. PATCH has agreed the same support for the next module which is due to start October 2023.
