Proposed research into advanced upper gastrointestinal cancer symptoms in the acute hospital setting

Maggie’s Professional Advisory Board Research Group and PATCH are discussing a joint proposal to research physical and psychological symptoms in patients with advanced upper gastrointestinal cancer in the acute hospital setting, in particular exploring unmet need. Maggie’s Research Lead, Lesley Howells, who coordinates the Research Group commented that collaborative research between charities, Universities and the NHS such as this is the way forward.
